Our maintenance
staff consists of four people that you will see on the
property. These are the people that are most likely to knock
on your door if you report a maintenance problem. For
routine problems we will contact you and make an
appointment to come to your apartment.
Right, blue shirt,
Tom Richardson. Tom is the co-owner (with his wife) and
manager of the University Apartments. Tom lives in Durham
and will be on site most week days and many evenings and
weekends. Tom is retired after working on the UNH campus as
a firefighter and fire captain for 30 years with the joint
Durham-UNH Fire Department. He is also a licensed Master
Electrician and has a great deal of knowledge of buildings
and building systems.
Left, grey tee
shirt, Tony Morse. Tony is our full time, 40 hours per week
Maintenance Supervisor. He has worked at the University
Apartments since 2006 and knows all of the tricks and
secrets of this 26-unit complex. He is a skilled mechanic
and excellent general maintenance person. Tony is the person
that you will most likely see doing routine maintenance on
the property. Don’t hesitate to say hello and get to know
Tony. In
the middle is our reserve staff, Cliff Brown and Marc
Everngam. Cliff continues to work for the previous owners of University Apartments and will continue to be available as
needed. He is a master carpenter and has managed the
maintenance of the University Apartments for the past five
years. In this time period the appearance, safety and
functionality of this facility has been greatly improved.
Marc Everngam is
an electrician, carpenter, mechanic, oil burner technician
and all around “make it work” person. He is also a certified
Municipal Building Inspector and Electrical Inspector and
has worked as a building inspector for the City of Dover,
NH. Marc has worked with Tom Richardson for about 25 years
and is available as needed to assist at University
Apartments.
We have many other
maintenance specialists on call for specific building
systems. This includes the fire alarm system, security
cameras & recorders, boilers, plumbing and roofs.
If anyone ever
tells you they are a maintenance person and asks to enter
your apartment without an appointment or introduction by one
of the regular staff, refuse to allow them to enter.
You should promptly call the manager to determine if the
unknown person is authorized to be on the property or in
your apartment. |
